Human Factors These disciplines are used to examine human behavior in order to understand the processes humans exhibit during a given task(s), whether basic or complex, in order to prevent and/or control error. Human Factors analysis as it relates to aircraft accidents and incidents lends insight into the breakdown(s) in human performance and identifies the contributing factors to the human error element. It aims to go beyond the definition of simply human error, using research and analysis to determine the causal factors of an accident or incident. |
