Statistical analysis often benefits the aircraft accident reconstruction. The old aviation saying, "there are no new accidents, just new accident pilots," exemplifies why statistical analysis is important. AvSafe performs its own statistical analysis on many aircraft types. Two aircraft series of accidents are provided as examples. These include the Beech90 Series, and the Mitsubishi MU2 Series. Click on the aircraft type to view the charts and statistics for the series. The NTSB accident database was used to extract some of the pertinent data relative to aircraft type, number, and place/date/time of accident. AvSafe staff interpreted the NTSB written reports in evaluating causal factors for the statistical compilation.
